DANIELLE PROUDDanielle Proud is an interior designer, craft expert and design writer. Operating through her boutique design studio House Proud, and as Creative Director of The Proud Group, Danielle develops inspired concepts and lush refurbishments throughout the UK. Projects range from live music venues to art galleries to glamorous residential abodes, modern country manors, and restaurants to cutting-edge bars and clubs. Most recently House Proud completed Proud2 a large scale nightclub at London’s 02 Arena in North Greenwich.

Having studied fashion at Central St Martin’s, Danielle went on to claim the post of Head Designer at BIBA, via sewing couture hats for Vivienne Westwood, but her passion for interior design took full flight when she started writing a “How To” interior style column for The Guardian Weekend Magazine in 2004. This resulted in Bloomsbury commissioning House Proud which was serialised in The Sunday Times Style and led Danielle to becoming Style’s interior style columnist.

Some of Danielle’s current projects include: a modern boutique hotel, the conversion of a listed building in Brighton into luxury apartments, a bespoke furniture range for House Proud, and a wallpaper collection for Graham and Brown. Danielle is also working on the new Range Rover Evoque campaign and continues to contribute to the Sunday Times Style magazine.
